Infosys is committed to expanding in Canada by doubling its national job commitment to 8,000 by the year 2024. This is in line with Infosys’ vision to nurture the next generation of innovators locally, for an increasingly digital future. Every day, Infosys enables Canadian companies to harness transformative digital technologies, empower employees through learning and upskilling, and become more competitive in their businesses.
Infosys delivers on its commitment to power Digital Canada by continuing to hire Canadian workers and global talent, while shrinking the IT skills gap through sustained investments in training.
In partnership with local education ecosystems, Infosys will work to aggressively recruit and upskill talent from major Canadian universities, technical institutions, and community colleges, helping build technological capabilities that Canadian enterprises need to compete in an increasingly digital world. To catapult these enterprises into an accelerated digital transformation journey, Infosys will harness technical skillsets of the new talent along with that of the company's experienced global talent base.
Infosys has created over 5,500 jobs across Toronto, Vancouver, Ottawa and Montreal, with plans for further expansion across the country. The company will also be hiring technical talent from fourteen educational institutions across the country, including from the University of Calgary, University of Alberta, Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, University of British Columbia, University of Toronto and University of Waterloo - building a strong pipeline to expand critical skills needed to accelerate digital transformation.
